So, I've been away from my blog for centuries now. Thing is I don't really know how to...blog. But today, I suddenly have the mood and inspiration to blog. So, here goes.
Today is the 20th of March 2011. And today is the day the MOON grew big. Nah.. just kidding. If you happened to have stumble upon an article on Yahoo about the moon recently, today, the mooon's orbit is closest to the earth. So, naturally, it looks bigger. Plus the fact that today the moon is full. So, it looks like a huge spotlight shining down upon us humans on earth. If you're happening to read this on the night/extremely early in the morning of the 20th March 2011, smack that drowsiness away from your face and get your butt outside and enjoy the beauty of the moon. It is a pretty sight, I promise you. Oh. and about the title. No, this blog post has nothing to do with werewolves or Jacob Black or Twilight or anything like that. Sorry if you're disappointed. It was just to attract attention ;)
Now, in a more serious note, according to the article on Yahoo, despite the beauty of the huge full Moon today, it does have an ugly side. According to scientists who deal with outerspace stuff, the gravity of the moon which is closer to earth on this particular week or so, may be a cause of natural disasters. For example, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic erruptions. Now, all these occur because the gravity pulls stuff (seawater/lava) upwards and interrupt with the ground movement. This may be a reason for all the bad stuff that has been happening and still happening in Japan recently.
So, tonight, let us all gaze upon the beauty of God's creation , and lend our hearts and thoughts to the people who are suffering in Japan. May they have strength to deal with all the hardships they are facing. And whenever you see a donation box for the Japan disaster, feel free to drop in some extra money to help those in need.
That's all for now. Toodles :)
